Thanks for visiting my website!
I am an engineer interested in computer graphics, interactive technology, and design.
My background is in Aerospace Engineering and Computer Graphics – I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University and a Master’s degree in Computer Graphics and Game Technology from the University of Pennsylvania.
I work at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in the Scientific Visualization Studio, creating technically-accurate visualizations based on data from NASA missions.
Prior to joining NASA, I was an Aerospace Engineer at a company called Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI) where I made computer animations of several aerospace-related news events, many of which have been broadcast on National/International news.
I have a range of creative and technical skills. On the creative side (image and video editing, 3D-modelling, etc), I’m proficient in Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Maya, and Lightwave. On the technical end, I’m well-versed in in c++, c#, javascript, MEL scripting, Unity, and general mathy engineering stuff – including a certification in Systems Tool Kit (STK). I have presented my work at the past five SIGGRAPH conferences.
I am always on the lookout for new and interesting projects, both technical and creative, so feel free to drop me a line!
Cheers,
Kel
